IB-C2 connection

Postby Daniel De Vos » Mar 07, 7:27 pm

After a download of a new version, tradebullet opens the connection to IB without a problem, but fails to connect to C2 : "login error : invalid account U...818 ..." When I manually go to the Collective2 tab and click OK, the connection is made.
I wanted to include the log file, but receive the error message that a .txt file is not allowed.
2 problems thus : cannot send log file, TB does not make connection to C2. What to do?

There have been no changes in C2 settings in a long time. Try changing your account in TB settings|C2 tab and save the settings.

There is no blocking of text files by email. I will try to find the (dumb) forum setting that blocks them.

I cannot change the settings at the TB/C2 tab. I have been able to attach the log files of yesterdag and today, and a print screen of the C2 tab. Can you see something wrong. Would deleted the whole TB program and all its files, and then reinstall be an option to solve the problem ?

Strange. Uninstalling probably won't help. Delete the settings file instead and restart TB.

I delete the file and redownloaded and restarted TB. After making the connection with IB, I got a error message. Do I have to look if .net framework in working correctly ?

I have .net framework repaired, I have redonwloaded the proper version of TWS, and Tradebullet blocks (is halted) when after making the connection with IB, it wants to make the connection to C2. Log attached

You are getting all kinds of errors, your installation is definitely broken.

Please uninstall TB and delete the entire C:\Program Files\TradeBullet\ folder. Then reinstall.

Your last login looks normal. What am I missing?

Well, please look at the last login. I sometimes can manually get to where I want to be. But I am trying to get things working automatically. At 6am I have to wake up and start manually since the last upgrade. The last login is what I normally get. Can you see what's going wrong ? Last log file attached.

At this moment, I even cannot manually make a connection to Collective2 from Tradebullet. My system is crashing. What can be the reason ?

I have no idea. Did you update windows recently?

When you installed TB, did you choose 'for all users' or just for your user?

Did you install windows service patches recently?

Try this: uninstall TB, delete the C:\Program Files\TradeBullet folder and reinstall TB just for your user.

Hi Francis, I have found the problem. There was a conflict with an image driver in my computer. When I removed it, all works fine. Thank you for the help.

What is an image driver? Is it a video card driver?
