How the TradeBullet Replicator works©
The Replicator allows you to send TradeStation signals to multiple targets such as Collective2 and multiple TradeBullet instances, each connected to a different brokerage account.
Let's use an example
Say you want to trade some TradeStation strategies in your account at Interactive Brokers , publish one or more strategies at C2 using the C2TradeStation application , and receive those same signals back from C2 and trade them in a IB Paper Trading account to see what your subscribers will experience.
While all the applications can run on the same computer, we used multiple computers in the flow chart below to give you an idea of the configurations you can use.
The only limitation is the TradeBullet instances and the Replicator must be running on the same machine, all other applications can run on other computers.
- TradeStation runs multiple systems and sends the signals to the Replicator running at 192.168.0.2. You can trade some systems in your live account and publish different systems to C2, the setup can be as flexible as you need!
- The Replicator receives the TS signals and forwards them to 3 clients (there can be more, there's no limit): the C2TradeStation app and two TradeBullet instances.
- The C2TradeStation app formats the signals and forwards them to C2 for distribution to your subscribers.
- TradeBullet #1 sends the TradeStation orders to TWS #1 which is running on a different computer (192.168.2.4).
- TradeBullet #2 sends the TradeStation orders to TWS #2 which is running on a different computer (192.168.2.3).
- The C2 web site sends back the trade signals to TradeBullet #1. This allows you to experience exactly what your subscribers will see.
- TWS #1 is connected to your IB Paper Trader account and trades the C2 orders.
- TWS #2 is connected to your IB Live account and trades the TradeStation orders.
